About the design
WAVE 5 is a vertical crescendo—an elongated column where the undulation stretches into long, even swells and gathers to a finely drawn crown. The silhouette reads as one continuous ascent, a single line held under tension, graceful yet taut. Its rhythm is quieter than the others, with broader intervals between ribs that slow the eye and amplify a sense of height. Light climbs the surface in uninterrupted bands, slipping from highlight to shadow with a measured calm that makes the form feel both contemplative and assured.
The geometry is tuned for composure. A gentle fullness at the base resolves into an increasingly lean profile, and the transition between radii is so smooth it feels inevitable—no breaks, no fuss, just a seamless passage from grounding to lift. Longer “wavelengths” in the ribbing allow reflections to stretch like silk along the flanks, while the vertical cadence keeps the volume readable and architectural. From different viewpoints the piece shifts from soft oval to sharp edge and back again, yet the silhouette never loses its equilibrium; it stands like a modern obelisk written in motion.
Choosing this profile is choosing height as a feeling. It communicates quiet ambition—the sense of a room reaching upward, of proportions clarified and intentions made crisp. Where other forms converse, this one concentrates; it edits the visual field to a single, lucid idea: line becoming light. WAVE 5 leaves a clear imprint of confidence and serenity, a tall breath held perfectly in time.
